FläktGroup Opens New Manufacturing Plant in Pune, India
PUNE, INDIA – FläktGroup has officially opened a new manufacturing facility in Pune, covering an area of 13,800 square meters. This plant will focus on producing advanced HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) and critical cooling solutions.
The inauguration, which took place on August 12, is a significant step for the company as it continues to grow in India and expand its reach across the Asia Pacific region.
The new facility boasts over 12,000 square meters dedicated to production, as well as areas for testing, research, engineering, and office support. It will manufacture a variety of products, such as air handling units, fan wall units, and heat exchangers, with an impressive capacity to produce up to 6,500 units each year.
FläktGroup emphasizes that this new plant enhances its commitment to the Indian market and boosts its ability to meet customer needs through increased local manufacturing, engineering expertise, and quicker response times.
The expansion comes at a time when FläktGroup India has been experiencing remarkable growth, boasting a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of over 30% over the past five years. This growth is driven by rising demand in various sectors, including data centers, pharmaceuticals, industrial manufacturing, and commercial HVAC.
