India’s bowling coach, Morne Morkel, has expressed confidence in the team’s ability to leverage KL Rahul’s experience as they prepare for the Test series in Sri Lanka. Rahul is the only player left from the Indian team that toured the island nation in 2018.
Morkel emphasized the importance of having experienced players in challenging conditions. “In situations like this, it’s valuable to have options. We can explore different strategies and discuss the best lineup. KL’s experience is crucial, especially considering the impressive way he has led the batting front over the past couple of years. We expect him to share his insights and guide the younger players during our practices and net sessions,” Morkel stated.
