Netflix is set to launch a new family comedy series titled “Chumbak,” premiering on August 28. This show revolves around five families living in a bustling urban Indian neighborhood, bringing to life their daily celebrations, challenges, and the delightful chaos that emerges in their tight-knit community.
The series boasts a talented cast, featuring well-known actors like Neena Gupta, Deven Bhojani, Arjun Bijlani, Helly Shah, and Sumeet Vyas, among others. It is created by Aatish Kapadia, who also writes and directs, and produced by JD Majethia, renowned for their previous hits like “Sarabhai vs Sarabhai” and “Khichdi.”
Tanya Bami, Series Head at Netflix India, shared her excitement, saying, “Chumbak is a fresh addition to our comedy lineup.
