New Delhi’s Strategy to Tackle Misinformation on E20 Fuel
In response to recent protests led by the CJP, the government has formed a multi-ministry team aimed at tackling misinformation related to E20 fuel. This initiative involves collaboration among vehicle manufacturers, dealers, testing agencies, oil companies, and fuel pump operators, as reported by Dipak Dash.
Officials from various ministries, including Information & Broadcasting, Road Transport, Heavy Industries, and Petroleum, are also establishing Quick Response Teams. These teams will actively identify and address false information circulating online. Their goal is to promote accurate details supported by scientific research, ensuring that the public receives trustworthy information about E20 fuel.
