Tech Mahindra Partners with Cisco to Launch AI-Driven Security Services

Tech Mahindra has recently entered into a partnership with Cisco to roll out an AI-powered Security Service Edge (SSE) aimed at improving security for businesses worldwide. This collaboration focuses on making security operations simpler, enhancing visibility, and providing easier access for users, especially as more companies shift towards cloud solutions, hybrid work models, and AI advancements.

The solution combines Tech Mahindra’s expertise in managed services with Cisco’s Secure Access SSE platform. This partnership aims to deliver a unified and cloud-native security system that protects users, devices, networks, and various locations. By integrating tools like secure web gateways, cloud access security brokers (CASB), zero trust network access (ZTNA), firewall-as-a-service, and data loss prevention (DLP), the platform reduces complexity and consistently applies zero-trust strategies.

Saket Singh, Senior Vice President & Business Head of Digital Core Services at Tech Mahindra, pointed out that many organizations dealing with distributed environments often have fragmented security tools coupled with increasing threats. He expressed optimism that this partnership would help these organizations simplify their operations, enhance zero-trust practices, and deliver consistent, AI-powered security at scale.

On the other hand, Raj Chopra, Senior Vice President & Chief Product Officer of Cisco’s Security Business Group, stressed the importance of making security simpler. He mentioned that businesses don’t want another tool to add to their already complicated security setup; they need a straightforward way to secure their operations across users, devices, applications, and cloud environments, including AI agents. Cisco’s Secure Access effectively combines identity verification, zero trust principles, and AI security into a single cloud-based platform, ensuring consistent policy application and smooth user experiences.

The new SSE solution is designed to help companies embrace the evolving digital landscape and offers strong protections for generative AI and AI tools. With comprehensive visibility, faster deployment, and modernized security frameworks, Tech Mahindra and Cisco are positioned as leaders in unified cloud security.

By enhancing resilience and simplifying secure access, this collaboration enables businesses to speed up their digital transformation in a world increasingly driven by AI and digital solutions. For Tech Mahindra, this partnership broadens its cybersecurity offerings and market reach, while Cisco enhances its presence in delivering AI-powered, zero-trust security solutions on a global scale.
