BJP Leader Critiques Congress’s Call for All-Party Meeting
On Thursday, BJP leader Sudhanshu Trivedi criticized the Congress party for requesting an all-party meeting. He pointed out that the government consistently consults with opposition parties before each session of Parliament.
In response to remarks made by Congress leader Jairam Ramesh, Trivedi suggested that Ramesh should appreciate Rahul Gandhi for returning to India just four days before the upcoming monsoon session, after spending some time abroad. He further questioned the legitimacy of the so-called INDIA bloc, which Ramesh frequently references. Trivedi argued that this alliance seems to lack clear leadership and unity, calling their efforts to blame others for their issues ineffective.
Trivedi emphasized that the INDIA bloc is struggling with trust and cooperation. He mentioned, “The current environment within the INDIA bloc shows that one party doesn’t trust another, and even members of Parliament are uncertain about their own colleagues. In challenging times, their leadership seems to be missing. There’s no solid ground for this alliance, and it’s unclear who is truly aligned with whom.”
