Dhurandhar Heads to Japan After Success in Theaters

The action-packed film Dhurandhar, featuring Ranveer Singh, is set to make its debut in Japan on July 10, 2026. This release marks another exciting chapter in its successful global journey after becoming one of the top hits in Hindi cinema.

In a special video message aimed at Japanese audiences, Ranveer Singh expressed his eagerness for them to enjoy this thrilling movie on the big screen. He described Dhurandhar as an immersive cinematic experience that combines drama, intensity, and emotional depth.

The film had previously enjoyed a fantastic run worldwide, following its launch in India on December 5, 2025. With remarkable box office numbers and a positive response from viewers, Dhurandhar solidified its status as a major commercial success in recent Hindi cinema.

Written, directed, and produced by Aditya Dhar, with contributions from Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar, the film showcases high-quality action sequences and emotionally-driven storytelling. It is produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios.

Featuring a stellar cast, Dhurandhar stars Ranveer Singh alongside Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, and several others. The storyline revolves around an undercover Indian intelligence agent working in Karachi, delving into criminal organizations while addressing a mission related to the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. The film combines elements of espionage and action against the backdrop of significant national security challenges.

With its upcoming release in Japan, the filmmakers hope to introduce this larger-than-life film to a new audience and extend its international reach.
