England’s Harry Kane Released from ‘Curse’ Ahead of Panama Match

England fans can breathe easier as Ghanaian spiritualist Nana Kwaku Bonsam claims he has lifted a “curse” he supposedly placed on Harry Kane before their recent World Cup match. This surprising twist comes after Kane missed a crucial chance during England’s goalless draw against Ghana in Boston, a moment that some fans linked to Bonsam’s earlier claims.

After Kane’s missed opportunity, discussions flooded social media. Ghana supporters even celebrated, suggesting that Bonsam’s supposed powers influenced the game’s outcome. Kane’s visible frustration during the match only fueled these discussions.

Bonsam, known for making controversial statements in football, including suggesting he was behind an injury to Cristiano Ronaldo during the 2014 World Cup, spoke about the situation in a recent interview.

“Yes, yes, I lifted it yesterday,” he said when asked if he had removed the curse. “Harry Kane is not my enemy. I have a baby that I will soon name after Harry Kane because I have loved him for a long time.”

His comments added a strange twist to the story, as he shifted from a perceived rival to showing admiration for the England striker.

In the same interview, Bonsam humorously responded to questions about whether he could cast his “powers” over other teams like Spain, France, or Argentina. He laughed it off, making it clear he didn’t plan to target anyone else.

Bonsam assured fans that Kane would now be free to play without any further distractions. “I know for sure that Harry Kane is going to perform very, very well in this match,” he confidently stated.

Now, Kane and the England team are set to look past the drama and focus on their upcoming match against Panama. Despite the off-field chatter, England is optimistic about their chances as they prepare for this important game in Group L.

The team will need to convert their opportunities into goals if they want to secure a spot in the next round. They face Panama on June 28 with three teams, including England, still battling for the two qualifying spots.
