Excitement Builds for “Welcome To The Jungle” Release
As June comes to a close, moviegoers are buzzing about the upcoming release of Welcome To The Jungle. This film is being touted as one of the biggest ensemble casts in Hindi cinema, leading to high anticipation among fans. The distributing partner, Star Studio18, has laid out an ambitious release plan to maximize its exposure.
In a recent communication to exhibitors, the distributor has requested that single-screen cinemas feature the film in every show. For two-screen cinemas, they are expecting 7 or 8 showings, while three-screen locations should plan for 9 to 10. Multiplexes with four screens need to host 11 to 12 shows, with similar requests scaling up to 15 or 16 shows for six-screen venues. Notably, in multiplexes boasting more than six screens, Star Studio18 expects 3 shows per screen each day for Welcome To The Jungle.
A source from the film trade commented, “Welcome To The Jungle is crafted for the big screen. Its humor and star-studded cast are sure to attract audiences, and the studio desires a broad release to ensure it hits the ground running.”
However, it will be interesting to see how this extensive demand for showings affects existing films. The source mentioned that other films, such as Cocktail 2 and Main Vaapas Aaunga, are performing well, and upcoming releases, including the Hollywood superhero movie Supergirl and the Punjabi film Carry On Jatta 4, could also impact screening availability.
The film features a stellar lineup, including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, and many others, making it one of the most anticipated releases of the season.
As the release date approaches, all eyes will be on how the theaters manage this influx of showings while accommodating competing titles.
