Afghanistan Captain Chooses to Bowl First Against India in ODI

In a thrilling matchup in Lucknow, Afghanistan’s captain Hashmatullah Shahidi won the toss and opted to bowl first against India in the second one-day international.

India is coming off a victory in the first ODI, which was affected by rain, winning by seven wickets. Currently, India leads the three-match series 1-0, with the final ODI scheduled to take place in Chennai this Saturday.

For this match, Yashasvi Jaiswal is set to open the batting alongside Rohit Sharma, while captain Shubman Gill will move to the third spot. Notably, wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav reenters the lineup, and medium pacer Prince Yadav is making his ODI debut.
