CEPI to Fund Development of Ebola Vaccine
BENGALURU: The global health organization CEPI is set to invest around $60 million in Moderna and two other groups to speed up the creation of vaccines against the Ebola Bundibugyo virus, which has impacted eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
CEPI, known for its early support in developing vaccines during the COVID-19 pandemic, is taking this significant step to combat the deadly virus.
Richard Hatchett, the CEO of CEPI, shared with Reuters that we could see vaccines for Ebola Bundibugyo ready for trials within just a few months.
