Dhurandhar’s Saini S Johray Culpable in POSH Committee Ruling: Bollywood Insider Reports

New Developments in the Saini S. Johray Case

Recent updates have surfaced regarding Saini S. Johray, the production designer for the film Dhurandhar, following allegations of sexual harassment against him. Reports indicate that an FIR was filed earlier this month, sparking a significant response.

The woman making the allegations initially reported her case to B62 Studios, the film company owned by filmmaker Aditya Dhar and producer Lokesh Dhar, in October 2025. The studio’s Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Committee quickly initiated an internal investigation.

According to sources, the POSH committee approached the matter with great care, given the serious nature of the claims and the studio’s strict no-tolerance policy towards harassment. The investigation took around six months and wrapped up in late March or early April of this year. The committee reportedly found Johray guilty of two serious offenses: sexual molestation and evidence tampering.

The allegations gained wider attention when a woman from New Delhi filed a complaint on April 20 at a police station in Chandigarh. She accused Johray of summoning her to a hotel room, where she claimed he harassed and physically assaulted her while also allegedly drugging her drink.

Following an initial investigation, the Chandigarh Police filed charges against Johray under several sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). He was subsequently arrested but has since been released on bail by a district court.

This situation has also impacted Johray’s career, leading to the removal of his credits from both ongoing and upcoming projects. While his name was included in the OTT version of Dhurandhar, it was later absent from the ‘Raw and Undekha’ version that premiered on May 22.

Additionally, Yash Raj Films has decided to omit Johray’s credit from their upcoming web series Akka, featuring well-known actors like Keerthy Suresh, Radhika Apte, and Tanvi Azmi.

This case highlights the ongoing discussions around workplace safety and accountability in the entertainment industry.
