Sonakshi Sinha Rents Out Mumbai Apartment to Kuwait Consulate
Sonakshi Sinha has officially rented her luxurious apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra area to the Consulate General of Kuwait for a year, according to property records. The rental agreement totals ₹1.92 crore, which breaks down to ₹16 lakh each month.
The apartment is primarily intended for the family and staff of Consul General Emad Abdul Aziz Al-Kharaz. Situated on a higher floor of the 81 Aureate building in Bandra West, the apartment offers an impressive carpet area of 4,350 square feet, along with an additional 27 square feet for a servant’s toilet.
This transaction was registered on May 25, 2026, with a stamp duty of ₹96,000 and a registration fee of ₹1,000. The lease officially begins on June 7, 2026, and will conclude on June 6, 2027. The deal also includes three parking spaces.
Residents of the building can enjoy a variety of amenities, such as a gym, library, conference room, two swimming pools, walking and jogging tracks, a banquet hall, multiple gardens, a yoga studio, an open-air fitness center, a kids’ play area, and a clubhouse. Access to these facilities is included in the rental agreement.
Additionally, the Kuwait Consulate operates in the Churchgate area of South Mumbai, close to the renowned KC College.
