PV Sindhu Spotted at IPL Match After Denmark Trip
Star badminton player PV Sindhu recently made headlines as she returned from Denmark following India’s early exit from the Uber Cup 2026. She was seen at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, attending the Sunday match between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
During the game, Sindhu was seen enjoying time with SRH owner Kaviya Maran. Their friendly interaction quickly caught the attention of fans on social media, who shared moments from their time together. Unfortunately, the atmosphere turned sour for SRH as they faced a tough loss at home, despite Sindhu’s cheerful presence.
In the match, SRH struggled to put up a good score, ending their innings at just 165 runs—marking it as their second-lowest score in this IPL season. Although Travis Head started strong, the team faltered after the powerplay overs, unable to capitalize on his efforts.
Sindhu’s return to India came after a disappointing performance at the Uber Cup, where she played two matches—securing a win against Denmark’s Line Christophersen but losing to China’s Wang Zhi Yi. India finished third in Group A, failing to qualify for the quarter-finals, which also included teams from China, Denmark, and Ukraine.
As for the IPL match, SRH, ranked third before the game with 12 points from 9 matches, saw their five-match winning streak come to an end. A dismal bowling performance allowed KKR to score 71 runs within the first six overs, leading them to an easy victory.
For KKR, the win was crucial as it helped them move away from the bottom two places in the league table, currently held by Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Super Giants.
Sindhu’s support from the sidelines wasn’t enough to lift SRH during this challenging match, but her presence certainly brought some excitement to the fans.
