Lungi Ngidi Set to Leave Hospital Following Injury During Match

Lungi Ngidi is expected to be discharged from the hospital after a concerning fall during the match between Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings at Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Saturday. The South African fast bowler was taken off the field in an ambulance after he fell and hit the back of his head while trying to catch the ball, raising immediate worries about his condition.

After the incident, Ngidi experienced headaches and neck pain, prompting his transfer to the hospital. However, the Delhi Capitals later announced that he is now stable and will be released soon. In his place, Indian all-rounder Vipraj Nigam stepped in as a concussion substitute for the remainder of the game.

Stay tuned for more updates on this situation.
