Mumbai: Tempers Flare at BJP Rally
In Mumbai, Maharashtra Minister Girish Mahajan faced a heated moment during the BJP’s Jan Aakrosh rally, which stretched from Jamboori Maidan to the NSCI Dome in Worli.
A video capturing the incident has gained attention online. In it, a visibly upset woman confronted Mahajan, expressing her frustration over being stuck in traffic for over an hour while trying to pick up her child. She passionately urged Mahajan and the rally participants to clear the road, demanding that they move to the side so vehicles could pass.
As tensions rose, a police officer attempted to calm her down, telling her to lower her voice. However, Mahajan remained calm throughout the exchange. Eventually, the woman chose to leave the scene.
This incident highlights the growing frustrations among city residents regarding traffic congestion, especially during large public events.
