Akshay Kumar has officially rented out his duplex apartment in Andheri West to Anny Divya, a well-known pilot and one of India’s youngest commanders of wide-body aircraft. This information comes from recent property registration records.
The apartment, located on the 11th and 12th floors of the Sky Pan building in the Oberoi Complex on New Link Road, features an attached terrace. The monthly rent for this property is set at ₹1.44 lakh, and the lease was registered on April 7. The agreement will last for 24 months, with the rental beginning on March 1.
Records show that the actor, whose legal name is Akshay Kumar Bhatia, is the landlord. Interestingly, the rental contract does not include a rent escalation clause or a security deposit, which is somewhat unusual for the rental market in Mumbai.
The stamp duty and registration fees for the lease came to ₹9,700, with ₹8,700 going toward stamp duty and ₹1,000 for registration. This payment was processed through the State Bank of India and officially recorded with the Inspector General of Registration office in Mumbai on April 7.
On the professional front, Akshay is currently busy promoting his upcoming film, Bhooth Bangla, which is set to be released on April 16.
