Krunal Pandya has shared his thoughts about the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) team, noting that the atmosphere this season feels much more stable. He believes this change is due to the confidence gained after the team won its first Indian Premier League (IPL) title in 2025.

In a recent episode of the RCB Podcast, Pandya praised captain Rajat Patidar for creating a calm and organized environment within the team. He emphasized that his main goal is still to return to representing India.

RCB recently achieved a significant milestone by winning their first IPL title, defeating the Punjab Kings by six runs in the final. Pandya played a crucial role in this victory, earning the Man-of-the-Match award for his impressive bowling figures of 2 wickets for just 17 runs.

“This year, the atmosphere is much more relaxed. Last year, we were still getting used to each other and figuring out our roles. Now, everyone understands what is expected of them,” Pandya explained.

He highlighted Patidar’s leadership skills, remarking, “Rajat has done a fantastic job as captain. His leadership last year was remarkable.”

On dealing with pressure during crucial matches, Pandya stated, “When I find myself in big moments, I believe there’s a reason I’m here. I focus on staying composed and doing what needs to be done.”

Pandya also noted the importance of teamwork, particularly his partnership with wicketkeeper Jitesh Sharma. “I trust Jitesh completely behind the stumps. I feel secure knowing he will catch the ball, no matter where I bowl it,” he added.

Reflecting on RCB’s passionate fanbase and its legends, Pandya mentioned Virat Kohli’s relentless drive. “Virat exemplifies hard work and passion for the game. His desire to win is evident. No matter when he played, he would still be one of the greatest.”

With the RCB team in a strong position and Pandya’s goals clearly set, fans will be eager to see what the rest of the season holds.
