Kolkata Celebrates 17th Foundation Day of Sri Sri Academy with Joy and Gratitude
Kolkata: Sri Sri Academy recently marked its 17th Foundation Day in a special ceremony that began with a peaceful meditation session, followed by a sacred ‘yagna’ to invoke the blessings of Goddess Saraswati.
February 21 was also observed as Staff Day, recognizing the dedicated contributions of the academy’s staff. This day highlighted the importance of the unsung heroes whose hard work and commitment are vital to the institution’s success.
The atmosphere was filled with joy and serenity, as the school community came together to celebrate. A special program was organized to honor the staff’s efforts, featuring a skit performed by the administrative and teaching teams, inspired by a story from the renowned filmmaker Satyajit Ray.
Throughout the day, there were songs that echoed through the halls, cheerful games like musical chairs brought smiles to the ‘didis,’ and an exciting football match for the ‘bhaiyaas’ contributed to the spirit of celebration. These activities served as a heartfelt expression of gratitude for all that the staff does.
Adding to the significance of the day, the school unveiled its magazine, ‘Srikiran,’ for the academic year 2025-26, making the Foundation Day even more memorable for everyone involved.
