Esha Gupta Returns to India After Uncertainty in UAE
Actress Esha Gupta is back in India after finding herself caught up in the recent tensions between the United States and Iran while in the United Arab Emirates. She shared her experience on Instagram, expressing her gratitude to the airline staff, the UAE authorities, and hotel personnel for their help during this challenging time.
In her post, Gupta stated, “Back home. Thank you all for your prayers and wishes. It was very tough to be in the situation that we all were. Truly, God’s blessing to be safe!”
She recounted her experience at the airport on Sunday, January 28, when chaos erupted. By 1 PM, the airport was closed, and panic filled the air as everyone awaited news. “Strangers were comforting each other, and we were all trying to reach our families back home,” she reflected.
Reports suggested that several Indian celebrities faced similar challenges in the UAE, with increased security measures and disruptions occurring across the Gulf region. Gupta was at the Abu Dhabi airport when operations were suspended. She praised the local authorities for their calm response during the turmoil, noting their efforts to help travelers remain composed.
Gupta hadn’t checked in for her flight yet when the airport shut down, prompting her to return to her hotel. “I hadn’t checked in yet, so I turned back and headed to my hotel,” she explained, sharing that many travelers had their own confusing and distressing stories to tell that night.
Her message conveyed a sense of relief and gratitude, highlighting the collective resilience shown by both officials and travelers during a tense situation.
