The excitement for the Golmaal franchise is at an all-time high as production for Golmaal 5 officially begins. Known for its humor and entertainment, this fifth installment is poised to deliver an even bigger experience for fans. Recently, a significant development has added to the buzz: T-Series has acquired the music rights for Golmaal 5. Reports indicate that Bhushan Kumar has invested around Rs. 9 crores, reflecting his confidence in the potential success of the film’s soundtrack.
In the past, there was some tension between T-Series and director Rohit Shetty, particularly during Diwali 2024 when their films, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again, competed at the box office. Things escalated when a copyright issue arose concerning the title track of Singham Again, leading to the removal of the song from all platforms.
Rohit Shetty later addressed the situation, mentioning how the copyright dispute forced them to make changes. Despite this hiccup, T-Series and Shetty have a solid history together, having collaborated on 12 of his 15 films, including hits like Golmaal Again and Singham Returns. Other music labels have partnered on his films too, but T-Series remains the dominant collaborator.
As Golmaal 5 takes shape, fans are eagerly anticipating more updates, especially regarding the film’s music and the comedic rivalry promised between stars Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar.
