Rajpal Yadav Surrendered to Tihar Jail in Cheque Bounce Case
Renowned comedian Rajpal Yadav, beloved for his years of laughter and entertainment, has recently made headlines as he surrendered to Tihar Jail. His decision comes in light of a cheque bounce case involving a sum of Rs 2.5 crores.
Rajpal reported to the authorities in Delhi on Thursday after the Delhi High Court denied his request for more time before surrendering. The court’s refusal left him with no choice but to comply.
In a somber moment, when approached about his situation, Rajpal expressed his feelings, saying, “Sir, kya karoon? Mere paas paise nahin hain (What can I do? I don’t have the money). Aur koi upaay nahin dikhta (I can’t see another way out).” His words reflected the gravity of his financial struggles.
When asked why he didn’t reach out to wealthy acquaintances, such as filmmaker Priyadarshan, who has collaborated with him on numerous projects, Rajpal shared, “Sir, yahan hum sab akele hain (We are all on our own here). There are no friends. I have to handle this situation by myself.”
As Rajpal faces this challenging phase in his life, his fans and the film industry await updates on his case and well-being.
