Filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra are gearing up for a major event to unveil the character looks from their upcoming film, Ramayana: Part One. According to sources, this exciting reveal is set for March 27 at the iconic Gateway of India in Mumbai, aligning with the festival of Ram Navami. The event will introduce the principal cast featuring in this highly awaited adaptation.

This new take on the Ramayana, directed by Tiwari and produced by Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios, has sparked considerable interest among fans and the industry. The film boasts a star-studded lineup, with Ranbir Kapoor taking on the role of Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash portraying Ravana. Other notable cast members include Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman.

The event is expected to be a grand affair, drawing numerous personalities from the worlds of film, sports, and public life. Invitations are reportedly being sent out, with senior leaders from both state and central government likely to attend, alongside prominent actors and industry figures.

Ranbir Kapoor has made a special effort to invite close friends and family to this event, which will mark the first public showcase of the Ramayana characters ahead of the film’s official release.

This reveal is seen as a strategic move to build excitement for what is being touted as one of the most ambitious mythological adaptations in Indian cinema. Ramayana: Part One is set to be released in IMAX during Diwali 2026, with plans for a sequel expected by Diwali 2027.
