Amazon India has launched two new smart home devices: the Echo Show 11 and the fourth-generation Echo Show 8. Both gadgets come with a sleek new design and enhanced smart features powered by Alexa, making them perfect for users who want a bigger screen, better sound, and improved control over their smart homes.
The Echo Show 11 boasts an 11-inch edge-to-edge screen, while the Echo Show 8 offers an 8.7-inch display. With slim bezels and modern styling, these devices provide more screen space than previous Echo Show models, enhancing your viewing experience for video calls, recipe checks, or just watching your favorite shows.
At their core, the Echo Show 11 and Echo Show 8 are equipped with Amazon’s custom AZ3 Pro chip, which ensures faster responses and seamless performance. They also feature a new Omnisense sensor platform, incorporating various sensors like a 13-megapixel camera, audio input, and motion detection. This technology allows Alexa to react to environmental changes, such as turning on lights when someone walks into a room or triggering routines based on temperature.
Users can easily control compatible smart devices, manage to-do lists, play music, and request recipes using either a touch screen or simple voice commands. Setting up smart routines is straightforward through the Alexa app, making it user-friendly even for newcomers.

Privacy is a significant concern, and these devices address it well. They come with physical buttons to turn off the microphone and camera, and users can delete voice recordings through the Alexa app.
Price-wise, the Echo Show 11 is sold for ₹26,999, while the Echo Show 8 is priced at ₹23,999. Both models are available in Graphite and Glacier White colors, and can be purchased online or at select retail stores.
Additionally, Amazon has announced that these new Echo Show devices will support Alexa+, their forthcoming AI-powered assistant, once it’s launched in India.
