India to Host Global AI Impact Summit in February 2026
India is set to host a significant AI impact summit from February 15 to 20, 2026. S. Krishnan, Secretary of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), announced that the event will welcome over 100 countries and numerous global AI leaders.
During the inaugural summit, 27 countries participated. By the following summit in France, the number had risen to over 100, and expectations are high for the upcoming event. Invitations have been sent to around 140 countries, with many confirmations already received.
The summit will feature more than 100 prominent figures in the AI field, including Chief Security Officers, Chief Experience Officers, and leading academics. In preparation for the main event, over 310 activities have been organized in the last 140 days, averaging more than two events per day worldwide. Additionally, about 800 more events are anticipated throughout the week of the summit itself.
This gathering promises to be a pivotal moment for discussions and advancements in artificial intelligence on a global scale.
