Ahaan Panday recently announced his next film during the NDTV Indian of the Year 2025 event. Following his successful debut in Saiyaara, he revealed that he will team up with filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar for an exciting new project.
While speaking with the host after receiving his award, Ahaan shared, “It’s an Ali Abbas Zafar film, and we’ll start filming in the next couple of months. It’s an action film led by three young actors under the age of 30. This unique storyline hasn’t been explored in a long time.” Although he kept most details under wraps, his confirmation ended months of speculation about his upcoming work.
Rumors about Ahaan’s next movie surfaced around October. Reports indicate that Sharvari is set to star as the female lead, and Bobby Deol may take on the role of the antagonist. This film is also reportedly backed by Yash Raj Films, highlighting another collaboration with a young lead actor. Filming is expected to begin in March 2026, primarily in the United Kingdom.
During the award ceremony, Ahaan took time to express gratitude to those who supported him on his journey. Reflecting on his experiences, he mentioned his co-star Aneet Padda, saying, “I learned a lot from her and owe a lot to her. My growth in Saiyaara was thanks to Mohit Suri and also Aneet.” He emphasized the importance of moving audiences through storytelling, stating, “Whatever happens, it matters that one person leaves the cinema feeling something.”
With this new film on the horizon, Ahaan Panday is set to make another impactful leap in his career after his debut.
