During the event, the team shared insights about the film, emphasizing that discussions surrounding Border are never complete without mentioning its unforgettable music.
The teaser includes a revamped version of the classic song “Hindustan Hindustan.” Bhushan Kumar also revealed that a remixed version of the beloved track “Sandese Aate Hai” will be featured in the film’s soundtrack. He announced plans for a grand launch of this song on January 2 at Longewala, a historical site significant to the India-Pakistan conflict during 1971.
Kumar expressed his excitement about the new rendition of “Sandese Aate Hai,” stating that other singers have joined in to create a fresh yet familiar sound. “We’ve tried to keep the essence of the original while giving it a contemporary feel,” he said, highlighting the song’s special connection with the armed forces.
Kumar credited J.P. Dutta for his vision in bringing Border 2 to life, explaining how Nidhi approached him with the idea. He noted the emotional resonance the first film holds for so many, leading to a collective decision to create a sequel.
He also praised Sunny Deol’s integral role in the film, expressing gratitude for his dedication and hard work. Kumar mentioned feeling nervous yet excited about the film’s release, commending the performances of Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty, particularly noting Varun’s standout performance.
