Elizabeth Olsen Talks Love and Her Upcoming Film “Eternity”
Actress Elizabeth Olsen has captured the hearts of many fans in India, largely due to her role as Wanda Maximoff in the Marvel films. In a recent interview with Bombay Times, she expressed her surprise at the affection she receives from Indian audiences.
“I’ve never been to India, but I would love to visit,” she shared. “I’m familiar with Indian content and have enjoyed it.”
In her upcoming romantic comedy, “Eternity,” Olsen stars alongside actors Miles Teller and Callum Turner. When asked about on-screen chemistry, she explained that it often comes from the writing. “It’s about portraying characters in their most comfortable moments,” she noted. “Sometimes, the chemistry comes from bickering and frustrations rather than romantic scenes.”
As she portrays a character in love, Olsen reflected on the nature of love itself. “Love can take many forms,” she said. “The feelings you have for your first crush at eight are just as real as the love shared with a partner later in life. All types of love are valid.”
When the topic of “forever love” came up, Olsen chuckled, saying, “I don’t believe in it. I think it’s an amusing idea.”
The movie, set to hit PVR INOX cinemas soon, will showcase not only humorous moments but also deeper emotional scenes that allow Olsen to explore her character’s complexities. Discussing her approach to these emotional scenes, she mentioned, “It’s all about communicating what’s happening in the moment. Sometimes it surprises you; other times it’s scripted or directed. Everyone has different ways to tap into their emotions, but what matters is making it believable.”
As the buzz around “Eternity” grows, fans eagerly await Olsen’s next performance, hoping to see more of her exceptional talent on screen.
