Gloo Acquires XRI Global to Enhance AI Capabilities

BOULDER, Colo. – Nov. 25, 2025 – Gloo, a tech platform focused on the faith and flourishing community, has announced its acquisition of XRI Global. This move aims to integrate advanced multilingual and voice AI technologies to improve the Gloo platform’s offerings.

XRI Global is known for its innovative approach to AI, specifically focusing on voice technology and supporting numerous languages. Through this acquisition, Gloo will enhance its existing technology solutions like Gloo AI and Gloo360, broadening their market reach and impact.

Founded in 2018, XRI Global specializes in creating custom AI solutions that cater to various sectors, including health and humanitarian efforts. With over 7,000 languages in the world and many being overlooked by current AI developments, XRI has implemented a research-driven methodology to create scalable AI technology for thousands of languages, even those with limited resources.

In just the last 18 months, XRI has developed AI models for more than 30 languages. The team consists of experts with backgrounds in machine learning and linguistics, including professionals with experience at major companies like Meta and Google.

Daniel Wilson, CEO of XRI Global, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “Together, Gloo and XRI can create a new category of AI infrastructure that is globally inclusive and aligned with shared values, ultimately aiding human growth.” He highlighted the importance of bridging the language gap, especially as AI becomes more prevalent in different sectors.

XRI has a solid track record of contributing to various projects within the faith community, including partnerships with organizations like the Gates Foundation and data collection efforts supporting the growth of languages in tech.

Steele Billings, president of Gloo AI, pointed out the urgency of their mission: “As AI changes how people communicate, millions risk exclusion because their languages aren’t included in modern AI models. By merging XRI’s expertise with Gloo’s values-driven approach, we are making significant strides to close that gap.”

With the integration of XRI, Gloo aims to provide reliable multilingual AI across its platform, opening up new international markets and enhancing the overall service for communities speaking diverse languages. This partnership seeks to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate in the technological advancements of the future.
