Siddhanth Kapoor Summoned by Mumbai Police in Drug Investigation
Siddhanth Kapoor, the brother of actress Shraddha Kapoor, has been called in by the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of the Mumbai Police. He is set to give his statement concerning a substantial drug case involving MD drugs valued at ₹252 crores. This is scheduled to happen at the Ghatkopar ANC unit on November 25.
In addition to Siddhanth, social media influencer Orhan Awatramani, often referred to as Orry, has also been summoned to appear on November 26 for his involvement in the same investigation. This ongoing case suggests a serious examination of a drug trafficking network.
Siddhanth is no stranger to legal issues regarding drug use. Back in 2022, he was apprehended after medical tests confirmed the presence of drugs in his system. He had been detained in Bengaluru while allegedly participating in drug use at a party.
Orry is also facing scrutiny. He was among several individuals named in a police report filed on March 15, 2025, for consuming alcohol at a hotel in Katra, Jammu and Kashmir—an act that is strictly banned in that religious area. The Jammu and Kashmir Police have promised to take firm action against such violations, emphasizing a zero-tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol in sacred places.
As the investigation unfolds, both Siddhanth and Orry will have to navigate the legal challenges ahead.
