Hon Hai Tech Day 2025 Kicks Off to Highlight Foxconn’s Dynamic Partnerships and Integrated Innovations

Foxconn Showcases Innovative Partnerships at Tech Day 2025

TAIPEI, Nov. 21, 2025 – Foxconn, officially known as Hon Hai Technology Group, is making strides to become a leader in AI technology. At their annual event, Hon Hai Tech Day 2025, they highlighted key collaborations with major players like NVIDIA, OpenAI, and Alphabet, showcasing their strengths in integrated technology.

The event featured some of the biggest names in the tech and automotive industries, including IBM, ABB Robotics, Uber, and Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus. The focus was on Foxconn’s advancements in areas like supercomputing, smart manufacturing, and electric vehicles.

Foxconn Chairman Young Liu explained, “Our vertical integration gives us a competitive edge. Our deep tech skills and manufacturing history allow us to partner effectively with top tech firms. They trust Foxconn to deliver innovative solutions quickly and reliably.” Liu emphasized that Foxconn is well-positioned to explore new technologies driven by AI and quantum advancements.

Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, discussed their new partnership with Foxconn, stating, “As the demand for AI components grows, it’s crucial to strengthen our supply chains to meet current and future industry needs.” Altman joined the conference via video call.

Hiroshi Lockheimer, Chief Product Officer at Alphabet, also praised Foxconn’s role in their collaboration, noting, “Together, we’ve brought groundbreaking technologies to life over the last decade.”

Foxconn is investing $1.4 billion in a cutting-edge supercomputing center, set to include 10,000 NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs. This facility will utilize advanced NVIDIA AI infrastructure, making it one of the first of its kind in Asia.

Neo Yao, CEO of Foxconn’s Visionbay subsidiary, outlined plans for innovative AI factories, while Alexis Bjorlin from NVIDIA shared insights on AI-powered supercomputing and robotics as part of the morning’s discussions.

The Tech Day event also highlighted the evolution of smart manufacturing, including discussions about humanoid robots and the potential of quantum technology to enhance artificial general intelligence (AGI).

Exhibiting in a spacious area, over 200 innovative products were displayed, including a modular AI-ready data center equipped with GB300 AI technology. Visitors got their first look at the MODEL A, an electric vehicle designed for versatility and powered by AI.

Among the electric vehicles showcased were several unique models, including the award-winning MODEL T bus and other variants catering to different needs.

The Hon Hai Tech Day 2025 runs until November 22 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1.

Overall, the event marked a significant moment for Foxconn as it strengthens its role in cutting-edge technology and partnerships.
