Ajit Pawar Advises Son on Legal Matters After Land Deal Issue

In Pune, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar spoke to reporters on Saturday, addressing a recent controversy involving a land deal in Pune that his son, Parth, was involved in. Ajit stated that Parth did not seek legal advice or consult him before proceeding with the deal.

Ajit emphasized the importance of consulting legal experts for any agreements. He stated, “I have not yet met Parth since this issue arose. When I do, I will advise him that he should not go ahead with any deal without consulting legal advisors first. This is a lesson for him.”

He further elaborated, saying that in any business transaction, it is crucial to check the legal documents thoroughly before moving forward. “In this case, that didn’t happen. If I had been aware, I would have advised against it,” he added.

Ajit also indicated that the land in question is government-owned, and he expressed concern that the deal should not have taken place. He mentioned that inquiries are currently underway to determine if anyone improperly influenced the officials involved.

This incident sheds light on the significance of legal consultation in property transactions, especially those involving public lands.
