Apple is facing a new challenge as two civil rights groups filed a complaint with EU antitrust regulators on Wednesday. The groups, Article 19 and Germany’s Society for Civil Rights, are raising concerns about the terms and conditions of Apple’s App Store and its devices, claiming they violate important rules aimed at controlling the power of large tech companies.
This complaint could create more difficulties for Apple, which was already fined 500 million euros (about $583 million) in April for not complying with the Digital Markets Act.
As of now, Apple has not provided any comments on this latest development.
