Man Arrested for Possessing Animal Parts for Ritual
Vadodara: The local forest department, with help from the Gujarat Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (GSPCA), arrested a man in Padra taluka on Sunday evening for having animal parts believed to be intended for ritual purposes.
The suspect, identified as Kalidas Bhuva from Ramnagar, was reportedly set to perform a ritual for Kali Chaudas. Thanks to a tip-off, authorities conducted a joint raid and discovered that Bhuva was in possession of two Sambar deer horns, two turtles, and a leopard claw.
A formal complaint has been registered against him at the Padra police station, and an investigation is ongoing to uncover more details about the ritual he planned to carry out.
