Morning Market Update: Key Trends to Watch Today

Good morning! I’m Ashutosh Joshi, an equities reporter based in Mumbai. As the trading day begins, Indian stocks are expected to have a steady opening. The positive feelings following last week’s monetary policy update are still influencing the market. Additionally, a good performance in Asian markets is likely to boost investor confidence today.

However, the benchmark Nifty index is having a tough time staying above the crucial 25,000 level, which may cause some traders to be a bit more cautious about pushing prices higher.

On another note, the excitement around IPOs continues to grow. Tata Capital is set to open bidding for an offering that could raise as much as 155 billion rupees (around $1.7 billion), potentially making it the largest listing in India this year.

Stay tuned for more updates as the day unfolds!
