Exploring Hefei: The Rise of Local Tech Companies

Hello! I’m Allen Wan, reporting from Hefei, a city you might not know much about. It’s situated just west of Shanghai and is becoming an important hub for technology. Here, local companies are shifting their partnerships from Nvidia to working with Huawei, a major player in the tech industry.

Recently, I had the opportunity to join a government-organized tour of various firms along the Yangtze River basin. This vibrant area includes nearly a dozen significant cities and provinces, with Hefei being the capital of Anhui. The tour provided insights into how these businesses are adapting and growing in the ever-changing tech landscape.

Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting shift in the tech world!
