The sudden passing of the beloved singer and actor Zubeen Garg has left fans both in India and around the world heartbroken. Zubeen, known for his hit song “Ya Ali,” tragically died in a scuba diving accident in Singapore at the age of 52. This incident occurred just one day before he was set to perform at a cultural festival highlighting the rich heritage of North East India.

In the midst of this profound loss, Zubeen’s wife, Garima Saikia Garg, has called for peace and unity as they prepare for his final farewell. In a touching video message, shared with fans, Garima spoke in Nepali, asking for a trouble-free farewell for Zubeen. She expressed her gratitude for the love and blessings he received throughout his life, hoping that his last journey would be serene.

“Zubeen is coming home. You all have supported him with your love, and he cherished all of you in return. I wish for a peaceful last rite,” she stated, appreciating the assistance of both law enforcement and local authorities.

Garima also voiced her support for Siddharth, a close family friend who had been there for Zubeen during challenging times, including his health struggles in 2020 and throughout the pandemic. She urged everyone to allow Siddharth to be part of Zubeen’s final moments, emphasizing the importance of having supportive people around her.

Moreover, she requested the withdrawal of any legal complaints against Siddharth, highlighting that Zubeen had many unfinished responsibilities that she felt overwhelmed to handle alone.

As they navigate this difficult time, Garima’s heartfelt messages resonate with many who are mourning the loss of a significant artist.
