Rabat Business School Climbs to 20th in Global Rankings

Rabat – Rabat Business School (RBS), part of the International University of Rabat (UIR), has achieved a remarkable milestone by ranking 20th in the 2025 Financial Times Masters in Management (MiM) rankings. This is a notable improvement from its previous position of 32nd in 2024, making it the highest-ranked business school in Africa.

According to the Financial Times, RBS excels in career support and employability, with an impressive 89% of graduates finding employment within three months of earning their degrees. Alumni enjoy a weighted average salary of $71,345.

Additionally, RBS has taken the top spot globally for career advancement and international work opportunities, showcasing its commitment to preparing students for the global job market.

Diversity is central to RBS, with 52% of its students being female and 34% coming from outside Morocco. The faculty is also highly qualified, featuring 96% holding doctoral degrees and 66% being international. Women represent 57% of the school’s board.

The average length of the program is 21.5 months, with recognition for its teaching on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues, earning a commendable 92nd place in that category.

Preparing Students for Global Business Challenges

Rabat Business School aims to equip students for leadership roles in a constantly changing international business landscape. The Master’s in International Business program plays a key role in this by providing students with valuable academic insights, global exposure, and practical experiences.

In the overall rankings, the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland is at the top, followed by HEC Paris and INSEAD from France, then Nova School of Business and Economics in Portugal, and Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management in China. RBS’s inclusion among these prestigious institutions highlights its growing influence in global business education.

Nicolas Arnaud, the Dean and Director General of RBS, recently shared his vision for the school’s future. Since taking over the role last September, he has been focused on enhancing the school’s international reputation through additional accreditations. RBS earned AACSB accreditation in 2020, a distinction held by just 5% of business schools worldwide.

Arnaud underscored that only a small percentage of business schools achieve triple accreditation, a goal he aims for RBS to reach. He believes these accreditations act as quality assurance that attracts top-notch faculty and students.

Research is another priority for Arnaud, who mentioned that the school’s research output is “very, very high” and sometimes surpasses that of other triple-accredited institutions. He emphasized that the high employment rate—approximately 90% within six months of graduation—sets RBS apart.

Arnaud also highlighted the school’s international focus. RBS attracts numerous international students, while local students benefit from exchange and dual-degree programs abroad. Many graduates go on to find job opportunities not just in Morocco, but also in Europe, North America, and beyond.
