According to Downdetector, a site that tracks service problems, over 500 complaints have been submitted by users in India alone, and the number is rising quickly.
Many users have taken to social media to express their annoyance, sharing stories about difficulties logging in or encountering repeated error messages. Some simply describe the service as “sending error messages” or being “unresponsive.” This sudden outage has impacted those who rely heavily on the chatbot’s assistance.
Currently, the reason for the disruption remains unclear, and OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, has not yet provided any updates on the situation.
