Fujitsu Partners with 1Finity and Arrcus for Enhanced AI Network Solutions

On September 2nd, Fujitsu Limited, along with its subsidiary 1Finity Inc. and Arrcus Inc., announced a strategic partnership aimed at developing next-generation network infrastructure to support the growing needs of the AI era. This collaboration focuses on providing innovative network solutions for both Japan and the global market.

As artificial intelligence becomes more integrated into everyday life, the volume of data traffic related to AI is surging. This shift highlights the urgent demand for network infrastructure that can efficiently link data centers, cloud platforms, and emerging 5G/6G networks.

Arrcus specializes in advanced routing and switching technologies. Its impressive networking software is designed to cater to the varying needs of network operators and businesses. The company’s Network Operating System allows for seamless operations across data center clusters, from edge environments to multi-cloud settings. This software doesn’t depend on specialized hardware, can run on generic components, and has helped customers cut their total ownership costs by over 40%.

Under their new partnership, 1Finity will offer Arrcus solutions broadly while also crafting marketing strategies to boost their global business, particularly targeting network operators and data center managers. This collaboration aims to encompass a full range of services, from network design to ongoing maintenance, ensuring maximum value for clients.

Fujitsu plans to utilize its extensive customer base to deliver flexible solutions that meet rapidly shifting market demands. By merging Arrcus’ technology with Fujitsu’s expertise in AI services, the partnership aims to establish a robust infrastructure service model for the global market.

Shekar Ayyar, CEO of Arrcus, expressed excitement about the partnership, emphasizing the need for innovative networks to support AI data centers and connected environments. He highlighted the potential benefits for both Fujitsu and its clients worldwide.

Masaaki Moribayashi, a senior executive at Fujitsu, underscored the increasing significance of networks as AI-related data burdens grow. He praised Arrcus’s products and their ability to enhance network performance, promising breakthroughs in networking solutions as they move forward together.

This partnership signals a significant step toward meeting the complex demands of the future digital landscape.
