Excitement Builds for “War 2” as Advance Bookings Begin
Advance ticket sales for the highly anticipated film “War 2” kicked off this past Saturday, and fans are buzzing with excitement as the release date of August 14 approaches. The film, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, is produced and distributed by Yash Raj Films (YRF), who are pulling out all the stops to ensure a grand release.
According to industry sources, YRF has laid out a clear strategy for how the film will be showcased across various cinema formats. In a bid to maximize the film’s visibility, they have instructed single-screen theaters not to split their showtimes. This means that every showtime at these cinemas should be dedicated solely to “War 2.”
For two-screen cinemas, the minimum requirement is to schedule at least 12 showings, while three-screen theaters must have a minimum of 18. The mandates increase as the cinema size grows: multiplexes with four screens are expected to show the film 21 times a day, five-screen venues 27 times, and so on. For the larger 10-screen multiplexes, a whopping 54 shows are required every day.
Before cinemas can start selling tickets, YRF has also advised them to confirm show timings and pricing with their office. It’s noteworthy that the ticket prices for “War 2” will likely be set at a premium, similar to what was seen with “Pushpa 2 – The Rule.”
As fans eagerly await the film’s release, the buzz surrounding “War 2” continues to grow. With a strong showing strategy and exciting ticket pricing, it promises to be a blockbuster event in cinemas nationwide.
