Dubai, July 27 (ANI) — Union Minister of State for External Affairs, Pabitra Margherita, engaged with members of the Indian community in Dubai on Monday. Sharing his experience on social media, he expressed joy in connecting with the lively Indian diaspora, appreciating their contributions while away from home.
In a reflective moment, Margherita also honored Mahatma Gandhi at his bust located at the Consulate General of India in Dubai. He highlighted how Gandhi’s values of peace, truth, and non-violence continue to inspire people worldwide.
Starting his day with a sense of reverence, he posted, “I am grateful to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi’s bust today. His principles remain a guiding light for many.”
Later, Margherita participated in the 124th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s radio show, “Mann Ki Baat,” along with officials from the Consulate. He commended the PM’s insights, saying, “It’s always motivating to hear about India’s journey and the importance of every citizen in nation-building.”
The Consulate General of India in Dubai also shared details about Margherita’s engagement with “Mann Ki Baat,” emphasizing its significance for the Indian community.
On a broader scale, many leaders from across India, including Chief Ministers from various states, tuned in to the program. They praised “Mann Ki Baat” for showcasing local innovations and encouraging citizens to contribute to society.
