Fast bowler Anshul Kamboj has joined the Indian cricket team as a replacement for the injured Arshdeep Singh in the ongoing Test series against England. The fourth match of the series is scheduled to begin on July 23 at Old Trafford in Manchester. Unfortunately, Arshdeep sustained a cut on his bowling arm while practicing, prompting the need for a substitute.
Reports indicate that Anshul Kamboj has stepped in to fill this gap. Kamboj recently played for the India A team against the England Lions, where he impressed by taking five wickets in two unofficial Tests. He also made a valuable contribution with the bat, scoring a half-century in the second match.
