Excel Entertainment, led by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, is recognized as a powerhouse in Indian cinema, known for producing major hits like the KGF series. The excitement is building around their upcoming film, 120 Bahadur, which features Farhan Akhtar in the leading role.

Set to release in November, 120 Bahadur has already generated significant buzz among fans. Reports indicate that the teaser for the film will be revealed in the first week of August. This teaser launch is anticipated to be a grand event in Mumbai, aimed at kicking off the film’s promotional campaign. According to insiders, 120 Bahadur promises to be a large-scale action film, and the production team has engaged an international crew to ensure high-quality action sequences. This film continues Excel’s trend of army-themed narratives, similar to their previous project, Lakshya.

In this film, Farhan plays the role of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, a character inspired by a true story. Farhan has a strong affinity for biopics, viewing Bhaag Milkha Bhaag as a highlight of his career. He has undergone rigorous preparation to accurately portray Major Bhati and will showcase a fresh look in 120 Bahadur. The marketing team is planning an extended campaign to promote its theatrical release effectively.

The much-awaited teaser for 120 Bahadur is scheduled to be shown in theaters starting August 14, 2025, aligning with the Independence Day weekend. It will be featured alongside the action movie War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and NTR, which will help maximize its visibility in cinemas across the country. Currently, post-production work, including editing, sound design, and VFX, is progressing well as the team at Excel Entertainment prepares for the film’s marketing rollout.

In addition to 120 Bahadur, Farhan Akhtar is also gearing up for his next directorial project, Don 3, which is expected to begin filming in January 2026. This film will star Ranveer Singh and Kriti Sanon, with casting for a pivotal antagonist role still in the works.

Directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, along with Amit Chandrra, 120 Bahadur is set to hit theaters on November 21, 2025.
