Samsung Unveils Impressive New Foldable Phones
Samsung has made a grand return with its latest lineup of foldable phones, showcasing some exciting innovations. At the recent Unpacked event held in New York, the tech giant introduced its new Galaxy devices, which are designed to be thinner, faster, and tougher than ever before.
For those seeking a tablet that can easily fit in their pocket, the new Galaxy Z Fold 7 is a perfect choice. When opened, it reveals a stunning 8-inch screen, bringing a tablet experience to your fingertips.
This year’s model is significantly slimmer and lighter, making it easier to use. In fact, it is now officially Samsung’s thinnest and lightest foldable phone, measuring just 8.9mm when folded, even thinner than the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Despite its sleek design, the Z Fold 7 is packed with power, featuring the impressive Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. This upgrade ensures that users will experience faster app launches, smoother multitasking, and enhanced gaming performance.
Durability is also a priority, and Samsung promises that this device is built to last. With strong materials like Armor FlexHinge, Gorilla Glass, and an Advanced Armor Aluminum frame, users can expect years of reliable use.
The phone’s cover screen has also been improved, now measuring 6.5 inches, which is larger than its predecessor. On the back, a new triple-lens camera system includes a main 200MP lens and clever features like auto image editing and a tool to remove background noise from videos.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be available this month, with a 512GB version priced at $1,999 and a 1TB model at $2,269.
But that’s not all! Samsung is also rolling out the new Z Flip 7, a stylish flip phone that offers a larger front display. This makes it easier to reply to messages and play games without needing to unfold the main 6.9-inch screen.
The Z Flip 7 comes with a bigger battery, a sleek new design, and improved power thanks to Samsung’s Exynos chip. It will retail for $1,099.
Additionally, Samsung is introducing the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, a more budget-friendly option for those interested in a flexible phone. Although it may not have all the features of its more premium counterparts, it is competitively priced at $899.
As Annika Bizon, Samsung’s VP of Product and Marketing for Mobile Experience in the UK and Ireland, noted, “We’re stepping into a new age of smartphone innovation.
