Dubai, UAE – NTT DATA, a leading global player in digital business and technology services, has announced its new membership with the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD).
This partnership will see NTT DATA engage in several important initiatives within WBCSD. As part of the Climate Action Working Group, the company plans to help develop and put into practice solutions aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and enhancing climate resilience. Using its expertise in artificial intelligence and data analytics, NTT DATA intends to assist other members in their journey towards achieving net-zero emissions.
In addition, NTT DATA will contribute its digital engineering skills to the Nature Action Working Group, focusing on creating tools that protect natural ecosystems, support sustainable resource management, and promote biodiversity.
The company will also join the Circularity Product and Material Working Group, helping to establish frameworks like the Global Circularity Protocol. They aim to promote circular economy principles in product design, material use, and sustainable supply chains.
