Kunal Verma and Puja Banerjee, a well-known couple from the television industry, recently opened up about a significant financial scam that deeply affected their lives. In a heartfelt interview, they shared how they were betrayed by someone they trusted, leaving them struggling financially.
The couple described the past few months as incredibly challenging. Puja emphasized the emotional impact of the betrayal, saying, “We’ve lost a significant amount and essentially have to start over. We don’t want to give up; we will fight through this.” She expressed how the situation has taken a serious toll on their emotions, but they are determined to emerge stronger.
Kunal echoed her sentiments, reflecting on how much it hurts to have been let down by someone who was considered family. “Trusting someone for so long and then facing this is painful,” he said. Puja added that revealing their situation publicly was tough, as they had to confront their family with the news for the first time.
Their son, Krishiv, who was born in October 2020, has also been a source of motivation for them. They expressed a strong desire for support from fans and loved ones, stating, “We hope to recover what we lost. It’s a long journey, but we are committed to fighting together.”
Kunal and Puja first crossed paths in 2008 while working on the show “Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna.” They got married in a private ceremony in April 2020 during the pandemic and later celebrated with a traditional wedding in November 2021, with their son present.
Despite the hardships they are currently facing, the couple remains hopeful and focused on rebuilding their lives.
