Realme Hip Hop India Season 2 Teams Up with Pokémon for Exciting New Collaboration

Realme Hip Hop India Season 2 is making waves, having attracted over 20.1 million viewers in just five weeks on Amazon MX Player. To add more excitement, the show has launched a unique collaboration with the beloved Pokémon franchise. This partnership highlights Amazon MX Player’s commitment to innovative marketing strategies, designed to engage audiences with major global brands through its popular programs.

The collaboration kicked off with a dynamic dance sequence featuring one of Pokémon’s most iconic characters, Pikachu. This exhilarating performance was met with enthusiastic applause from the audience. Additionally, Amazon MX Player released a creative video that combines the thrill of the Pokémon Trading Card Game with hip-hop dance, showcasing the talents of Malaika Arora, who is a new judge this season. The video presents a fresh take on opening digital Pokémon card packs, infused with the energy of a dance battle that brings Pokémon powers to life through moves.

Aruna Daryanani, Director of Amazon MX Player, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, saying, “Working with Pokémon reflects our goal of providing innovative experiences. By merging the charm of Pokémon with the energetic vibe of Realme Hip Hop India Season 2, we’re offering something truly special. We aim to create engaging entertainment while forming valuable connections with audiences and advertisers.”

Malaika Arora, sharing her excitement about being part of the campaign, said, “The magical world of Pokémon is a joy to explore, and pairing that with hip-hop is fantastic. This was a fun and creative project that shows how different worlds can merge into something memorable. Dance tells a powerful story, and this is for every fans of Pokémon and dance.”

The Pokémon Company’s Susumu Fukunaga highlighted the intention behind the collaboration, stating, “We want to inspire joy and imagination, just like Pokémon has for years. Teaming up with Realme Hip Hop India S2 allowed us to showcase Pokémon’s playful side in an energetic, dance-focused manner. The creativity and passion in this campaign align perfectly with our brand’s spirit.”

The show, judged by Remo D’Souza and Malaika Arora, continues to highlight India’s finest street dancers and is raising the competition with each episode. From setting Guinness World Records to captivating audiences online, this season dives deeper into the evolving landscape of hip-hop culture in India, with new episodes available every Thursday on Amazon MX Player.
