Strengthening Cybersecurity in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province
Bahrain and the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia play crucial roles in driving industrial and economic growth. To support this, the resilience of IT and Operational Technology (OT) systems has become increasingly important. Bahrain’s National Cybersecurity Strategy aims to tackle emerging cyber threats by improving infrastructure, encouraging cooperation between public and private sectors, and boosting national resilience.
Similarly, Saudi Arabia’s VISION 2030 highlights the importance of digital transformation and strong cybersecurity measures to safeguard critical infrastructure and national interests.
As IT and OT systems become more interconnected, they face rising cyber risks. Given the strategic significance of these regions as industrial centers, protecting OT infrastructure is essential for ongoing economic development and national security.
