The anticipation surrounding Anupam Kher’s directorial debut, Tanvi The Great, has been heightened with the release of Boman Irani’s first look in the film. Irani, celebrated for his exceptional acting skills, takes on the character of Raza Saab, a musical genius.
Anupam Kher shared the character poster on Instagram, showcasing Irani in a thoughtful and sophisticated manner that radiates wisdom and creativity. In his heartfelt message, Kher reflected on their long friendship and the significant influence Irani had on the film.
Kher expressed, “Boman Irani is not only a phenomenal actor but also a remarkable person. Having him on set is invaluable. When I shared the idea of Tanvi The Great, he immediately showed interest in being part of the project. His contribution to the film is tremendous! In a statement from the film’s team, Irani mentioned how the concept of Tanvi The Great deeply touched him. “The story moved me to tears. I felt compelled to be involved in any capacity. Tanvi The Great is set to premiere at the acclaimed Cannes Film Festival as part of the Marche du Film. The film, produced by Anupam Kher Studios and NFDC in collaboration with Lower Middle Class Corporation, includes a musical score by Oscar-winning composer M.M. Keeravani. The release date will be announced soon, and the film stars newcomer Shubhangi Dutt in the lead role.
